About The Open Shop Project

The Open Shop Project is a partnership project between heritage venues and artists in Pennine Lancashire. Managed by Creativity Works this is an exciting opportunity for artists to engage with new audiences by developing innovative work based around the eclectic collections housed in Pennine Lancs heritage venues. Involved in this project are; Towneley Hall, Burnley, Rossendale Museum, Haworth Art Gallery, Hyndburn, Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery, North West Sound Archive and the ACE Centre, Pendle. This blog will track this project from advertising artist opportunities to finished exhibitions.
